Beware Before you Buy!

There are many different types of personal alert systems available on the market today, do not take this decision lightly as it could save a life of a family member or loved one.

If you are looking to buy a Personal Alert System 
then please check out the following important points before making a descision.

 

  • Does the Personal Alert System have a pendant that can still operate correctly when completely submersed under water such as in a bath?
    if not DON'T BUY.
  • Does the pendant look as though you could accidentally lean on the button and set it off?
    If so DON'T BUY.
  • Does the pendant have a "nurse call" function to attract attention of someone else inside your home?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Does the system require you to talk to be able to get help? (if you are having a stroke this may not be possible)
    If so  DON'T BUY.
  • Does the system have the ability to scare off any would be intruders to your home?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Does the system allow for an extended voice message that can relay important information stating where your key safe lock is located and its code?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Is the system allowed to link with "Triple Zero"?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Is the system easy to program?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Is the pendant capable of giving you at least 3 years of battery life without the need to re-charge or re-place the batteries?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Does the system have a long term well proven track record?
    If not DON'T BUY.
  • Is the unit made in China? If so buy at your own risk!
